The WhatsApp Business API is the official Meta product that lets businesses send and receive WhatsApp messages at scale — with multiple agents, bulk campaigns, and automation. Unlike the personal WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app, the API has no device limits, no manual forwarding, and no message caps. WayScend is a Meta Tech Provider, which means we help you access and use the API without dealing with any of the technical setup yourself.
Meta charges a per-conversation fee for WhatsApp Business API messages. These fees are set by Meta and vary by country and conversation type (marketing, utility, authentication, or service). WayScend does not add any markup to these fees — you pay Meta directly. Your WayScend plan fee covers the platform, inbox, campaigns, and automation tools only.
Yes. If you already have a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) or are using a number for business, you can migrate it to WayScend's API. Our onboarding team walks you through the embedded signup process, which typically takes under an hour. Note: once a number is on the API, it cannot simultaneously run on the WhatsApp app on a phone.
Starter supports up to 2 team members, Growth supports up to 5 team members, and Enterprise supports unlimited team members. Each team member gets their own login and can be assigned conversations independently. All team members can use the shared inbox and collaborate on conversations in real time.
When you cancel, your account stays active until the end of your billing period. After that, your data is retained for 30 days, during which you can request an export. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted. Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax regulations. See our Terms of Service for full details.
